About us – TÜV-certified pitch board system manufacturer

IFS Ltd. manufactures a pitch board and ball-stop netting system of its own design for natural and artificial grass football pitches and multi-purpose sports fields (including EPDM rubber surfaces), and supplies the materials and accessories needed for sports field construction. Every component is weatherproof, complies with the standards applicable to sports field construction and holds a TÜV certificate.

A board system for every pitch size

Artificial grass pitches let players move more easily, reduce the risk of injury and absorb impact energy better than natural grass. The load-bearing elements of the board system are designed to allow several layout sizes according to the customer's needs. For large pitches we recommend 5 m high fixed-installation posts outside the pitch line, onto which the ball-stop net can be mounted all the way round or only behind the goal lines. For small and medium-sized pitches the system allows enclosure with boards, with ball-stop netting or with a combination of the two.

Because the posts are usually set in concrete and cannot be replaced later, we developed the BX extension system: existing posts can be raised afterwards, and a pitch built with boards only can be fitted with ball-stop netting even where there is no room for an outer fence.

The boards are white plywood panels made for outdoor use; the ball-stop net is UV-resistant polypropylene, tensioned top and bottom with PVC-coated steel wire. The system is available for all three pitch sizes: for mini and small pitches we use the board and ball-stop system, for full-size pitches we recommend a ball-stop system with an additional row of boards along the touchlines, which also provides a good surface for advertising.

Complete delivery for sports field construction

We always provide a technical installation manual for the contractor, because correct storage and precisely dimensioned installation are essential for the life of the system.
