Football pitch boards – white plywood perimeter board system

Football pitch boards are the basic element of a pitch enclosure: the 1.1 m high board wall along the edge of the playing area keeps the ball in play and protects the surroundings. The IFS board system consists of birch plywood panels with water- and boil-proof glue, developed for outdoor use, carried by hot-dip galvanised fixed-installation posts and closed at the top with an aluminium U-profile. The most popular white board has a UV-resistant melamine coating on both sides, so it does not yellow over the years, is easy to clean and provides an excellent surface for advertising.

Sports field boards for every pitch size

The board system is available for mini (12×24 m) and small (22×44 m) pitches, on its own or combined with ball-stop netting; for full-size (72×111 m) pitches we recommend a ball-stop system with an additional row of boards. The system is TÜV-certified and meets the technical content expected in sports field construction. Board types, technical data and installation

Planks:

White birch plywood plank:
1100x2500x18 mm size birch tree plywood, both of the side panels with a white 205 gr/m2 melamine UV resistant standing coat. Gluing: AW-100, DIN 68705, water and cooking standing.

Brown birch plywood plank:
1500x2500x18 mm size birch tree plywood, both of the side panels with a brown 120 gr/m2 fenolfilm standing coat. Gluing: AW-100, DIN 68705, water and cooking standing.

Natural plain birch plywood plank:
1250x2500x21 mm size birch tree plywood. Gluing: BFU-100, DIN 68705, water and cooking standing.


Setup proposal:
3 columns keep each board, we fix it on the columns with a head sunk screw bandage to the holder handles. (IMPORTANT: Let us press in all cases a little amount of silicone into the holes before the insertion of the screws in the interest of the prevention of the infilitration of rainwater!)
The palisade panels in the corners, and at the joining of the gates beside a leader plank has to be cut with a circular saw onto a size. The dimensions are specific in all cases of a field. The cut edges of the plank must be painted with the same colour with an oil-base paint.
	The above edges of the sheets' need to be locked with a 3 or 6 metre aliminium "U" profile embedded in silicone after the installation. The "U" profiles is cut onto a size in 45 degrees into the corners. Make sure, that the profile joints should not coincidence with the palisade panels. This overlap provides bigger stiffness for the palisade wall.
